8th ECR Day, Hamburg, 11 and 12 September 2007: Meeting Point Future – With Cooperation to Innovation.
Leading companies in the retail and consumer goods sectors came together in Hamburg for this year’s ECR Day. In the busy ECR Village – the so-called “place of cooperation” – numerous participants paid a visit to the DACHSER Food Logistics stand.
3rd Handelsblatt Annual Conference ‘India’, Berlin, 12 and 13 September 2007: Step by Step to an Economic Power.
At this event, India-savvy experts and high-calibre speakers discussed the investment possibilities on the booming subcontinent. Cyrus J. Guzder, Chairman and Managing Director of AFL DACHSER Private Ltd., spoke about the developments in infrastructure and logistics in India. DACHSER established a joint venture with AFL, one of India’s leading logistics providers, at the beginning of 2007 in order to widen its access to the Indian market.
GS1 Workshop at the DACHSER EURO-HUB, Überherrn, 6 and 7 November 2007: Strategies & Potential in Non-food Logistics.
The first GS1 Non-food dialogue is to be held at the DACHSER EURO-HUB in Überherrn/Saarland. The practically oriented workshop will focus on various aspects of logistics handling, in particular in the DIY segment. One special attraction is a tour of the warehousing operations at the EURO-HUB.
42nd BME Symposium, Berlin, 12-14 November 2007: Fit for growth.
The 42nd BME Symposium will look into the question of how companies can secure their growth strategy in the long term through intelligent purchasing and logistics solutions. DACHSER Intelligent Logistics is presenting tried-and-tested logistics solutions at the accompanying trade exhibition.
8th BHB International Home Centre Congress, Berlin, 21 and 22 November 2007: One World – Sustainability and Energy Efficiency.
Over 600 participants from the German and European home centre segment will discuss the opportunities and possibilities offered by sustainability, energy efficiency and eco-friendly design in the industry. As an important partner to this sector, DACHSER DIY Logistics offers DIY centres integrated logistics solutions and is participating in the congress again this year.
1st German Food Logistics Congress, Frankfurt, 27 November 2007: Freshness as a Competitive Edge – Logistics makes the Difference.
The main theme of the ‘First German Food Logistics Congress’ is seamless and ecologically compatible logistics in the food sector. One of the speakers is Stefan Krautwurst-Leister, Sales unit head at DACHSER Food Logistics.
