Return ticket to London
The winner of the DACHSER competition “Great Britain and Ireland” cashed in his prize some weeks ago, and spent an exciting weekend in London with his wife.
“The weather was great, and there was so much going on in London,” said the lucky winner, Fred-Walter Nöcker from the company Müller’s Mühle after his trip.
In early 2007 he had entered a mailing competition organized by DACHSER Food Logistics to mark the new partnership with the British food logistics provider Corby Chilled Distribution, now known as Innovate Logistics.
By the way – within a matter of months, DACHSER’s cooperation with Innovate Logistics began to pay off. Since the launch of the partnership, DACHSER has increased its tonnages with the British Isles significantly.
In planning their trip, Mr Nöcker and his wife were looking for a mixture of culture, ecitement and relaxation (although the last of these was not so easy, given the amazing variety of things the city has to offer). The lucky winners visited the famous sights, such as St. Paul’s Cathedral, Tower Bridge, Big Ben, Piccadilly Circus, Buckingham Palace, Harrods and the London Eye.
