DACHSER subsidiary opens branch at Casablanca airport
With approx. 3 million inhabitants, Casablanca is Morocco’s largest city and key centre of trade and industry. As long ago as 1984, Dachser’s Graveleau subsidiary opened an office there, which was Graveleau’s first base in the Maghreb states. Since December 2007, DACHSER has been represented by Graveleau Maroc with a further branch situated directly at Casablanca airport.
The airport at Casablanca is regarded as the biggest and most important in the country, and therefore plays a key role for trade and industry. It has regular services to about 70 destinations provided by 45 airlines. It was, then, very important for Graveleau Maroc to open another office based directly at the airport. “Our new office enables us to offer our customers a very special service for their transport activities,” says Cyrill Coutelle, Overseas Branch Manager in Morocco. And he continues: “And on top of that, as an IATA agent we have been able to issue air freight documents ourselves on the spot since the beginning of last year.”
