Short distances to the south-east – with Transpress as partner in Bulgaria
From 1 October 2008, DACHSER will cooperate with the Bulgarian logistics services provider Transpress. With this step, DACHSER is further expanding its activities in south-east Europe.
Transpress Ltd. was founded in 1993. The family-run company started out as a specialist for press distribution and is geared towards speed – an ideal partner for DACHSER and its Europe-wide groupage network.
Three trucks per week depart from the DACHSER Munich branch to transport shipments to and from Bulgaria via the hub in Sofia and other transshipment platforms. A fleet of over a hundred vehicles and distribution centres in Sofia, Plovdiv, Stara Zagora, Burgas, Varna, Veliko Tarnovo and Russe ensure 24-hour delivery within Bulgaria.
Transpress’ range of services encompasses groupage as well as full load, hazardous goods and trade fair transport services. Tracking & Tracing, warehousing and customs clearance complete the services on offer.
The present partnership with the Bulgarian company Eurosped EOOD ends on 30 September 2008.
