Hot wheels in the Bahrain desert

Another side to logistics: DACHSER transported 20 Ferrari models from the USA and Europe to a motor racing circuit in Bahrain and back.

DACHSER Air & Sea Logistics’ key account management in Munich took on a particularly “hot” project for its customer best-log INTERCONTINENTAL: punctually in time for the Formula 1 race in Bahrain, the logistics provider delivered 20 classical and contemporary Ferrari models which the organizer, Bahrain International Circuit, B.I.C. for short, presented at an exhibition.

On their arrival, the exclusive vehicles elicited many an ecstatic reaction from the crowd – both at the airport and the racing circuit: rarely before had they seen so many collector’s items all in one place. Ferraris worth USD 125 million stood right before their eyes. After the exhibition, DACHSER staff transported the same showpieces back to their countries of origin.
