The industry trade fair highlight this year is transport logistic, the 12th International Exhibition for Logistics, Telematics and Transport, being held in Munich from 12 to 15 May.

On a total area of 622 square metres, a team of 70 staff members will be showcasing DACHSER’s logistics services to interested visitors. Six thematic islands dedicated to the business segments European Logistics, with the DIY-Logistics and Chem-Logistics industry solutions, Air & Sea Logistics, Food Logistics, Contract Logistics, IT and Sustainability will provide visitors with an insight into the world of DACHSER logistics. Refreshments will of course be served.

At the last event in 2007, more than 1,580 exhibitors from 57 countries presented their products and services. 47,636 trade visitors, some 30% of whom came from outside Germany, took the opportunity to make important contacts with decision-makers in the logistics industry and find out about innovative products and solutions.

Again in 2009, transport logistic is the biggest and most comprehensive industry showcase, bringing together the “who’s who” in the transport and logistics industry on over 90,000 square metres of exhibition space.

Asia Pacific Sourcing 2009

The third Asia-Pacific Sourcing is being held from 1 to 3 March in Cologne. The trade fair for home, garden and leisure products from the Far East is considered the pivotal platform for multilateral import and export deals. This year, DACHSER DIY-Logistics together with DACHSER Air & Sea Logistics will again be participating at Europe’s leading sourcing fair.

Anyone looking for sourcing partners from the Far East in the home, garden and leisure segments cannot afford to miss Asia-Pacific Sourcing. The trade exhibition – deemed to be the leading sourcing event – is held every two years. In 2007, 8,300 visitors from 60 countries – many of them purchasing and procurement decision-makers from international corporations – attended the event in Cologne.

Multimodal 2009

This year, DACHSER UK will be participating at Multimodal in Birmingham from 28 to 30 April 2009 with a 35-square-metre stand. The only trade fair in the UK to embrace the complete spectrum of freight transportation and logistics, Multimodal was held for the first time in 2008. 1,900 visitors from 23 countries came to the NEC in Birmingham and were greeted with enthusiasm by the 135 exhibitors.
