The best pictures from the "It's a colourful world" tour
Here you can see colourful impressions of the “It’s a colourful world” tour. The pencil tour organized by pencil and crayon manufacturer Faber-Castell and its cooperation partner DACHSER set itself the goal to promote children’s intellectual development through creative activities.
A semi-trailer truck provided by the logistics partner DACHSER drove through Germany and Scandinavia transporting a 12.5-metre-long giant pencil weighing approx. one tonne. The tour, jointly organized by DACHSER and Faber-Castell, started on 30 May and finished just under three weeks later in Oslo, after covering over 1,600 kilometres and stopping at 10 stations along the way. Hundreds of children marvelled at the giant pencil, which after its journey through Germany and Denmark had arrived in the Norwegian capital. The best pictures drawn by the children on its journey were put together in what is probably the biggest book of children’s art in the world and presented to the International Children’s Art Museum.
