Lindbergh & DACHSER is an “Authorized Economic Operator”
The joint venture is one of the first companies in Slovakia to be granted the status of AEO.
Since 2008, services providers involved in customs procedures in the European Union can apply for AEO status. This is gaining increasing significance in light of the EU security concept. “Authorized Economic Operators” are considered particularly reliable and trustworthy. The certificate speeds up customs procedures and saves money.
DACHSER is one of the first major logistics providers to enjoy AEO status. The company has already been awarded AEO certification in Germany, France, Austria, Sweden, the Czech republic (Breclav location) and most recently in Slovakia. More countries are to follow.
“The certificate is a big advantage for our customers and proves that we set very high quality standards,” says Michael Huttner, country manager of DACHSER Air & Sea Logistics in Slovakia. Lindbergh & DACHSER is one of only four companies in the country to have been awarded the AEO certificate.
